How to get free to use photos for your blog
Here’s how I find the photo’s I use on this blog:
First: You book mark the page that allows you to search the Flickr Creative Commons licensed library. Thousands of users choose to license the photos that they upload in a way that you can use them in blog posts, Power Point presentations, or any other way you see fit.
Second: Search for any type of photo that you want. Flickr allows you to sort by how interesting a photo is. It usually does a pretty good job of getting appealing photos.
Third: Take the photo, put it into Photoshop, Pixelmator, or any other image editing software you may have. All you have to do is add a small credit to the photo or in the blog post. Think of it as a ‘thank you’ to the photographer for giving you the use of the photo for free.
